Bready or Not!

Hello and thank you for checking out the bread section of our site! My name is Chris and I regularly make loaves of bread at home for my household. Numerous people have told me I should sell it and that is the idea of this page!

Below you will find dropdowns to build one of the combinations below or to just build your own!

All proceeds help fund our Wedding next spring! :)

Bread Price Range: $7 ~ $20

Feel free to mix and match any of the options below to create a bread to add to your cart. The percentages relate to what percent is not white flour (e.g. Wheat 30% is 70% white flour and 30% whole wheat flour). A few tasty combinations include:

  • Squared (flat-top) - White (100%) - None - None ~~~ I make this all the time. A simple loaf but perfect for a sandwich.
  • Boule - Wheat (20%) - Parmigiano Reggiano - Fresh Cracked Pepper ~~~ The Parmigiano gives that slightly sharp nutty flavor to the loaf and the pepper adds a little spice.
  • Boule - Wheat (30%) - Extra Sharp Yellow Chedder - Diced Jalapeños ~~~ The sharp chedder mixed with the Jalapeños is like nacho cheese in a bread loaf.
  • Squared (round-top) - Rye (20%) - None - Whole Caraway Seeds ~~~ This is your classic NY deli style rye bread used to make a Reuben/Rachel.

*** IMPORTANT INFO ***

  • Delivery: I can deliver the loaves within a 15-20 mile radius of Manassas, VA. Outside of that, we might need to meet somewhere in the middle. I would prefer not to have to drive more than about 45 minutes or so. Alternatively, I can ship it for a fee to most of the DMV area but we would have to discuss that.
  • Timeframe: Once the order is placed, it takes 1-2 business days to actually make them.
  • The Bread: Once the bread has finished baking and setting (takes a minimum of 1 hour for the crumb to set), the delivery will be made the same day so it will be nice and fresh. The bread will be in a bag with a twist tie. So long as you keep the bread enclosed in the bag it should last a good 4-5 days. I have actually let a loaf of the Parm/Pepper sit in the bag for 7 full days without touching it and it was still good.
  • Ingredients: I use quality ingredients because I think it tastes better. All of my bread is made with ONLY flour, water, salt, and yeast (plus the listed add-ins) and no added junk like you see in store bought breads. And I definately do NOT skimp on the cheese! :)
  • Limitations: I can only make a certain number of loaves per day. If for some reason I have surpassed that number (we can only hope!), I will let you know how backed up I am when the order is placed.

  • Order Process: Enter your address below for delivery or an address where you would like to meet. The next screen will ask for your name, email address, and you will be able to choose what bread you would like.
When the order is submitted, you will receive an automated confirmation email. I will follow up as soon as I can with info on timeframes, payment, delivery, etc.

  • Payment Types: For now, I am accepting Cash, Zelle, and Venmo. If this takes off, I might see about accepting credit cards sometime in the future.
